Originally Christmas Day was just going to be spent with my parents. So it would be Dustin, Mark, me, my mom, my dad and their dog, Kona. But, my brother and his husband, who just this summer moved to America (Florida to be exact) from living in China for the last 10 years, let us know that they would be coming to Dallas. It’s a quick trip, but I get them for the entire Christmas Day!!!
So now it brings our number from 4 adults + 1 child + 1 dog to 6 adults + 1 child + 1 dog!
Queue alllllll the planning.
If you know me at all, you know that pens, notebooks and planners are one of my love languages! Albeit, a made up love language. Nonetheless, if you want to make me happy, see me happy, watch me organize the crap out of everything, then hand me some paper products and stuff will get done!
Naturally I began to make a list once I realized I would be hosting. But, I needed something more than a list on paper. I wanted something special. Something just for me hosting Christmas Day, for the first time!
I put together this quick and easy document that outlines the following:
- Things to think about
- Menu Plan
- To Do List
- Christmas Day Schedule
