Things to Think About
For me, this was a brain dump of everything that I need to get done by Christmas Day. It is still missing a couple things, but I am perfecting this list every day. It includes things such as a schedule, menu, grocery list, what I need to buy, make and do, my table décor plan, music and games. I think that’s it. Right? If it’s not….PLEASE let me know!
Here I created bullets for breakfast, starters, side dishes and main, as that is what we plan on having. Our menu is pretty set too, as it was easy for my husband and I to decide what we wanted to make that day.
To Do List
My list is lacking right now, but it will get more detailed in the next couple weeks. Right now my list stands at needing to write out the grocery list, buy a tablecloth (check!), deep clean the kitchen and dining room, deep clean the living room, including rearranging a few things, and make table name tags.
Christmas Day Schedule
This is just a plan for the day. I am not that anal where my entire attitude and enjoyment of the day will be derailed if we don’t stick to this schedule. I wanted to have an outline of what to do. That will allow Dustin and I to make sure we plan appropriately for cooking, baking and setup.

I was telling Dustin the other day that I hopes he understands that Christmas Kara is going to become a thing, even more than it is now, once we own a home and have lots of space to decorate. I envision a tree in our entrance way, probably a tall skinny tree.
This one will not be decorated, but will have lights. Then our dining room will have a small tree, probably in the corner of the room. Our living room will have the master tree. If we have high ceilings, you best believe that I will get the tallest tree that will fit. At that point, I think our Santa themed Christmas tree will be moved to another room, and I will have a different theme for this tree.
We don’t own a home and I am already planning our Christmas decorations. Not even day-to-day decorations, but Christmas decorations!!!! LOL. Laugh away… my husband did!
